On Saturday, June 11th, friends of Unlimited Earth Care gathered at a private estate in Bridgehampton for an exhibition party featuring the work of Frederic Avella. His work offers a variety of finishes while respecting the environment. Frederic comes from the French design industry with ideas about cartoons, comics and marvels. He created “Freud,” the first sculpture series issued from his collaboration manifesting his intention to demystify different animals with proportions, exaggerations, round lines and animal personification. Frederic's concept is to parody the serious character in an amusing, almost burlesque way, knowing what the animal image represents in pop culture and as often used for labels or sport mascots. Yet still the animal is loyal, faithful, courageous, powerful and strong. He creates, revisits and customizes animal subjects by giving them a touch of pop art and the sublime dressed in bright colors. Frederic's works are in numerous art galleries, such as Bartoux in Cannes, Megevem Courchevel, Saint Paul de Vence, BCK Gallery in Marrakech, ZBERRO Gallery in Paris, and Avant Gallery in Miami and New York.
