In the midst of writing her new book about sugar-free, grain-free recipes (set for release in August 2019), Daphne Oz takes a breath to prioritize balance. The chef, author and mom extraordinaire, who exudes infectious confidence and self-love, does so with an August escape to her family’s home in Amagansett.
This summer, she has a lot planned for her family, which has grown since last season. Activities like visits to Duryea’s for dockside lobster rolls—she gushes, “I didn’t get a chance to have one last year!”—and regular stops to The Crow’s Nest, Grindstone Coffee and Donuts, and Buddha Berry are on the agenda.
