THE PARTY As the sun slipped below the horizon, artists and friends alike laughed, dined and danced at The Surf Lodge’ first Artists and Plates Dinner Series, celebrating Canadian native artist Chloe Wise. THE SCENE Hosted by The Scott Art’s curatorial team, the event brought together notable creatives, including artist Lucien Smith, collector Adam Lindemann and Harper’s Books’ own Harper Levine. THE HIGHLIGHTS Through crisp, orange light, guests dined to chef Ken Addington’s four-course meal on porcelain plates fired with Wise’s art. Diverging from traditional gallery exhibitions, The Surf Lodge created an atmosphere to buzz about for days. –Remie Arena
